CEL 35x Series dBadge� - The Noise Dosimeter that changed it all!
When Casella CEL introduced the revolutionary micro-sized dBadge� cable-free, shoulder-mounted noise dosimeter to Industrial Hygienists and Safety professionals worldwide, it revolutionized personal noise exposure sampling in a significant way � gone were all of the hassles and safety concerns of cable-mounted microphones - yet all the essential features of �traditional� dosimeters (LCD data display, on-board control keys, IS approvals, �multiple metrics� capture and secure data storage) were retained. No other dosimeter then could claim these attributes and today the expanded CEL dBadge� product range offers even more features and value! With thousands and thousands of units in daily use providing simple, straightforward sampling in diverse locations from manufacturing operations to extreme and hazardous environments on drilling rigs, refineries and processing plants, dBadges have demonstrated their durability, ease-of-use and outstanding performance is second to none. The CEL-35X dBadge series of cable-free dosimeters includes the CEL-350 and the CEL-352 Plus models. Each model in the series is available with or without intrinsic safety approvals. Their small size and light weight also make the CEL-35X series units much more acceptable to workers since they no longer have to wear a bulky dosimeter on their belt. Another plus: an integral microphone is much less exposed and far less likely to be damaged than cable mounted microphones.

Applications
Perfect for all your personal noise measurements, the CEL-35X series features a single measurement range from 65 to 140 dB to cover all levels required by OSHA, ACGIH and other national and international regulatory compliance protocols. Peak levels up to 144 dB are captured as well. The CEL-35X instruments need no user setup or advance configuration to cover all requirements for measuring dose since 5dB and 3 dB exchange rates are captured at the same time in the same run. Virtually any combination of threshold and criterion level can be analyzed after the measurement using the powerful Casella Insight software.

All CEL-350 units provide overall run data of dose and projected 8 hour dose values as well as the actual elapsed time average and the calculated 8 hour time weighted average (TWA) levels.

The CEL-350 �standard� model has logging of time history samples at 1 minute intervals during the run. Average and maximum noise levels with the 5 and 3 dB exchange rates as well as instantaneous peaks are saved to provide a complete time history that can be viewed in the Insight software. This provides a powerful analysis capability by indicating exactly when the most dangerous noise levels occurred at any specific time of day.

CEL-352 Plus dosimeters provide all the advantages of the CEL-350 and also give you C-weighted average noise level data along with the A-weighted result to aid in the correct selection of hearing protectors following international recommendations. The instrument automatically calculates the �C minus A� (C-A) time averaged result onboard the dosimeter and the value is displayed in the software.

• All CEL-35X Noise dosimeters are provided with a locking foam windscreen and 2 pairs of attachment clips. Two pairs (alligator and pin) clips are provided with every CEL-35X dosimeter and other mounting clips are available as accessories. They are interchangeable and field replaceable with minimum effort.
• CEL-35x noise dosimeters can be �feature-upgraded� should your measurement needs change.
• Available Intrinsic Safety approvals include the following levels: ATEX EEx ia I M1, EEx ia IIC T2 II 1 G, certificate number 07ATEX2032X and IECEx Ex ia I Ma, Ex ia IIC T2, certificate number IECEx SIR 11.0063X. US/Canadian FM/CSA approvals are to Class 1, Division 1, Groups A, B C, D, temperature classification T2

• Standard kits are provided that include up to 12 individual dBadge dosimeters plus all the required accessories under the part number CEL-35X/KX (where X is any number from 1 to a maximum of 12 individual dosimeters). Included in the kits are the dosimeter(s), the appropriate number of charger bases, a power supply, a high speed USB infrared interface for communication with the computer, an acoustic calibrator, a copy of Casella Insight software and a foam lined kit case. Kits of 1 to 3 dosimeters include a single charger base, kits of 4 to 6 include 1 master charger and 1 slave charger. Additional slave chargers plus a short link cable are provided for kits from 7 to 12 as needed.
